Apple will at last unveil a touch-screen iPod with a 3.5-inch display at its media event Wednesday, sources have confirmed, some 20 months after Think Secret first broke word of the device’s development.

I want one. I only wonder if it will remain compatible with the stereos in my cars. I use my iPod exclusively in the car, so that would be a deal breaker for me.

JB over at Crunchgear has the exclusive on the “upcoming” Google Phone, supposedly set to launch in Q1 2008. His source is someone inside HTC, the company that Google’s working with to pick one of 20 models to finalize their design.

Wow, I really wanted an iPhone, because they are cool. But a Google Phone! It doesn’t get any better than that. Here’s a list of why the Google Phone is cool:
